Biography

Miwa Komatsu (b. 1984, Nagano, Japan) is a contemporary Japanese artist whose practice explores spirituality, sacred guardian beings and the invisible connections between humanity and nature. Her works are held in public and private collections including the British Museum and the Nagano Prefectural Art Museum, and have been exhibited internationally across Asia, Europe and the United States.
