Kohei Nawa
A rotating selection of available works, chosen for their momentum in today's market.
Biography
Kohei Nawa is a Japanese artist known for sculptures and installations that transform bodies, surfaces, and data through beads, foam, pixels, and biomorphic materials. Working across sculpture, installation, digital processes, performance collaboration, and mixed media, the artist builds a visual language shaped by perception, material transformation, digital information, skins, cells, and the unstable boundary between object and image. Rather than relying on spectacle, the work develops through careful decisions about scale, surface, repetition, and context. For collectors, the practice offers a highly material contemporary practice connecting technology, biology, and sculptural presence, with a body of work that can be read through both formal invention and cultural resonance.
